OverviewMicrosoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. Within CO+I, Datacenter Construction Delivery (DCD) is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsoft's cloud business meeting all safety, quality, sustainability, schedule, and budget requirements.The DCD Construction Americas (AMER) Field Operations Program Manager provides critical leadership, ownership and accountability for the team's deployment and delivery of large-scale, campus and/or regionally based delivery solutions to predictably deliver Datacenter capacity. This role is located in Phoenix, AZ. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidate will need to relocate and work 100% onsite. ResponsibilitiesAnalyzes and recommends delivery options from a technical standpoint based on best practices and trends, supports the development and implementation of all organizational procedures and standards, and ensures they are followed by all team members and vendors.Orchestrates work with internal and external partners to resolve complex issues and ensures schedule predictability to contracted milestones and in doing so may significantly impact global construction projects.Reviews and provides feedback to the team and regional management regarding resource procurement, allocation, and human capital resources for future upcoming projects.Holds their team(s) accountable for on-schedule delivery of projects by ensuring project progress reports including scope, schedule, resources, and budget are provided.Manages the day-to-day coordination for meetings and activities with vendors, cost managers, and/or owner/architect/contractors.Facilitates collaboration with other internal teams.Reviews safe worksite(s) by adhering to organizational, industry procedures, and global safety policies.Establishes, reviews, and communicates risk mitigation goals and develops metrics, dashboards and/or scorecards to drive progress. In addition, this role has people management responsibilities including driving employee growth and development, executing projects, and managing performance.
