Job Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Attendant performs the warehouse's daily inventory duties, including receiving, stocking, and administering/ issuing stock materials. The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for physically receiving parts & service, in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor, and maintaining accurate and adequate stock levels to support the operation. The specific activities include, but are not limited to, physical reception and stocking, receipt for inventory items in the ERP System (SAP), cycle counts (in coordination with the Warehouse Supervisor), Forklift operation to move materials within the warehouse, and general housekeeping to keep the warehouse well maintained, orderly, and clean.


Job Responsibilities

  • Physical material reception and stocking
  • Issuing materials as requested
  • Maintain adequate and accurate inventory stock levels to support Operations

    • Work with operations to ensure adequate and timely supply of parts
    • Work closely with Warehouse Supervisor and AMG Planners for purchasing needs


  • Maintain accurate consignment stock inventory count
  • Process daily paperwork as required
  • Reconcile monthly Procard statements (when applicable)
  • Communicate and maintain relationships with Vendors
  • Operate forklift to stock and move materials

    • Material allocation within the warehouse racks


  • Perform Cycle Counts per required plan
  • Other Procurement functions to support the Warehouse Supervisor and Operations including purchase order creation, as requested
  • "Housekeeping" - Ensure warehouse aisleways are clear, floors regularly swept and maintain an overall orderly and clean warehouse environment.
  • Ensure all safety, environmental, and operational core values and best practices are followed


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of warehouse operation (preferred)
  • Forklift certification and license (preferred; if not trained) - Training will be provided, if needed
  • Knowledge of SAP system (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, Operations or Supply Chain (preferred)

  • Strong Time Management and Organization Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills (both in-writing and verbally)
  • Physical and manual activities


Working Conditions

  • Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, noise, dust, and working outdoors
  • Must wear protective equipment while at the location


Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Kneeling, standing, pulling, crouching, walking, reaching, lifting, hearing, pushing talking.
  • Exposure to dust and extreme temperatures, wet and/or humid conditions.
  • Potential exposure to mechanical and chemical hazards.
