Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. This role is vital to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and uptime of all electrical systems within the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and control systems, including PLCs and HMIs. A successful electrician in this role is a self-starter with a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Pay Range: $24.00- $35.00 per hour

Shift: 5 weeks on day shift (7am-3pm), 1 week on afternoon shift (3pm-11pm). (OT: 5am-3pm/ 3pm-1am)

Key Responsibilities



  • Diagnose and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components in a manufacturing environment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems as scheduled.
  • Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems per electrical codes and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PLCs, HMIs, motor controls, drives, and automated systems.
  • Maintain documentation of work performed and enter accurate information into the maintenance system.
  • Assist with fabrication tasks involving electrical integration.
  • Interpret and apply knowledge of ladder logic, schematics, and electrical drawings.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.


Desired Experience and Skills



  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, especially Allen Bradley platforms.
  • Understanding of motor control systems, drives, and sensors.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and schematic diagrams.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic mechanical systems is a plus.
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred.
  • Strong attention to safety, detail, and quality.
  • Ability to use electrical testing tools and diagnostic instruments.
  • Competency in using maintenance software and entering work order data.


Qualifications



  • 2+ years of experience in industrial electrical work, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout, PPE, confined space procedures, and other safety practices.
  • CPR and first aid training may be required.
  • Must pass a hands-on electrical and PLC programming assessment.
