DCS Corp has an exciting opportunity for a Security Support Senior position providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance / Special Operation Forces (ISR/SOF) Directorate (AFLCMC/WI). This position will support the AFLCMC/WIN Division and specific ISR programs.

Essential Job Functions:

This position will serve as the technical expert for multiple specialized Information Protection (IP) and acquisition security programs supporting major DoD and classified/highly sensitive USAF defense acquisition and intelligence programs. The Contractor will assist with providing a wide range of security management, analytical, technical and support services for programs managed by AFLCMC/WI Directorate, AFLCMC/WIN Division, and specific ISR programs. The Contractor will administer physical, information, industrial, personnel, and Operations Security (OPSEC) programs as applied to assigned acquisition activities/systems. The Contractor will provide guidance and assistance to integrated process teams in the areas of physical, information, industrial, personnel, operations, and apply experience in the acquisition's security disciplines.

The Security Support Specialist will assist in managing a full range of Special Access Programs (SAP) IAW Joint Sap Implementation Guide (JSIG) Manuals and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) as applicable. The Contractor will implement Air Force SAP Nomination Process (AF SAPNP) and ensure effective program implementation of the Joint Security Implementation Guide/Risk Management Framework.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with providing guidance, recommendations, and assistance to assigned Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), program managers, supervisors, employees, acquisition SAPs and sensitive activities concerning SAP information, industrial and personnel security matters.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with developing and maintaining time-phased, event-driven Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Security Directives (PSDs), Technology Assessment and Control Plans (TA/CPs), and Program Protection Plans (PPPs). They will administer program protection planning efforts, identify and validate mission security needs through evaluation or development of security elements of applicable programs. They will assist with identifying program funding for program protection planning and system security activities and system components. They will assist with identifying all plans, designs, processes, equipment, procedures, materials, and/or information that must be protected to ensure uncompromised effectiveness throughout a system's life cycle. They will ensure the security of the system throughout its life cycle and the protection of sensitive, classified, and Critical Program Information (CPI). They will assist with evaluating and developing Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), source selection criteria and standards, and proposal evaluation. They will assist with plans, develops directs, administers, evaluates, implements and maintains support to cybersecurity initiatives concerning the protection of classified and sensitive information transmitted/disseminated throughout the cyber environment. They will assist with developing or evaluating system security risk assessments and analysis, security threats and vulnerabilities, and provide program management with options and resource requirements for mitigating the risks.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with processing Program Access Requests (PARs) for those requiring access to associated programs IAW AF SAPNP. They will assist with maintaining internal PAR tracking system to ensure all required forms and documentation, including but not limited to letters of compelling need and waivers, are complete and accurate before submittal. They will assist with ensuring security clearances for onsite Government and DoD Contractor personnel are current, within five years, when compared to the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS). They will assist with ensuring personnel information in Air Force Access Database System (AFADS) is entered in a timely manner, verified, and current. They will assist with maintaining an appropriately classified computerized database of onsite Government and DoD Contractor personnel with access to assigned programs. They will assist with maintaining billet structures where applicable.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with the development of security requirements into SAP contractual commitments. The Contractor will administratively assist with the coordination of Prime and Sub DD Form 254, DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications to the Program Security Office (PSO).

The Security Support Specialist will assist with ensuring compliance with the Security Education and Motivation Program for program-briefed personnel. They will assist with developing and implementing unique program in-briefings for all newly assigned personnel, as well as, for those out-processing from the program. They will assist with ensuring completion of all associated in-processing and out-processing forms and that personnel being debriefed are advised of the protection requirements of information learned through association with the program. They will assist with providing classification management guidance to AFLCMC/WI and subordinate units for assigned programs.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with managing SAP security incidents related to the program and monitor security incident investigations. They will assist with preparing reports as identified by the GSSO and PSO, on a case-by-case basis, and maintaining tracking and management of incidents through closure. They will maintain incidents IAW established SAP guidelines.

The Security Support Specialist will assist with developing and maintaining standard operating procedures, emergency action plans and fixed facility checklists IAW DoD and/or ICD requirements. They will assist the assigned GSSO in the annual self-inspection of SAP Facilities (SAPFs).

The Security Support Specialist will assist with training and oversight to program classified marking efforts. They will assist with ensuring all program briefed personnel are trained and have access to the latest Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) for marking SAP materials. They will periodically assess classified documents and media created to ensure they are marked IAW DoDM 5205.07, Volume 4 and the AF SAP marking guide.

The Security Support Specialist will conduct Special Security Representative (SSR) duties and manage the day-to-day physical security program for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). They will assist in the management of the accreditation cycle for division SCIF to include development and implementation of physical security policies and procedures. They will review, assist with the coordination and forwarding of SCIF accreditation packages to the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) for final accreditation approval

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

A Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of experience, Master's Degree plus 10 years of experience, or High School Diploma plus 15 years of experience.

An adjudicated DoD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility on the First Day of employment.

Must have security support experience with weapon systems and subsystems.

Familiar with security policy/manuals and the appropriate DoD and Air Force directives, manuals and instructions.

Required certifications:

Level 1 Security Fundamentals Professional Certification granted by Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency's Security Professional Education Development (SPED) Program is required for Senior- level positions within 12 months of employment. The individual must maintain this certification during the remainder of employment.
