We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Mill Machinist with 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience to set up, operate, and inspect precision components on vertical and/or horizontal CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate is familiar with G-code, blueprint reading, and basic tooling concepts, and is looking to grow into more complex setups and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC vertical and/or horizontal milling machines to manufacture precision components to tight tolerances.
Load raw materials, select proper tooling, and call up programs using a machine CRT.
Perform basic to intermediate setups with guidance from senior machinists or programmers as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T symbols, and operation sheets to ensure conformance to part specifications.
Conduct first-article and in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Make minor program edits or tool offsets to adjust for variation and improve part quality.
Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and report any issues to supervision or programming.
Deburr, clean, and prepare completed parts for the next operation or inspection.
Maintain accurate documentation of setups, work performed, and inspection results in accordance with quality system requirements.
Follow safety protocols, wear the required PPE, and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts related to quality, efficiency, and machine utilization.

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
1 to 5 years of CNC milling experience in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with Fanuc, Mazak, Haas, or similar CNC machine controls.
Solid understanding of machining principles, cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and GD&T.
Working knowledge of inspection techniques and use of hand tools.
Capable of performing basic offsets, tooling changes, and part adjustments with moderate supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Team-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
Must be able to move freely throughout manufacturing environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
