Professor at the CUMC - Director of Melanoma and Sarcoma Disease The Department of Medicine, Division of Hematology/Oncology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking applications from highly accomplished physicians for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Professor (non-tenure) to serve as Director of the Melanoma and Sarcoma Disease-Based Team. This key leadership role is part of the Division's continued strategic expansion in hematology and oncology. We are seeking a distinguished physician whose career reflects significant achievement across both academic and industry settings. The ideal candidate will bring a proven record of leadership, clinical excellence, and impactful research in melanoma, sarcoma, and rare cancers. The successful candidate will be expected to expand and elevate both the clinical and translational components of the Melanoma/Sarcoma/Rare Cancer Programs. They will lead efforts to enhance research and scholarly activity within the Division, develop a robust and collaborative research portfolio, and secure external funding to support innovative investigations. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape and grow a high-impact program within one of the nation's leading academic medical centers. M.D. or equivalent medical professional degree is required. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Hematology and/ or Oncology and must be eligible to practice in the State of New York.
