Plastic Surgery 3D Program Analyst

Summary:
The Plastic Surgery 3D Porgram Analyst reports to the Director of Craniofacial Program. Performs data analysis and management for department trials and studies. Acts as expert statistical data consultant. Assists with system design and development for data capture. Oversee and run 3D printer for plastic Surgery Department. Responsible for the oversight of Students, Residents and Fellows working on Craniofacial research projects.

Responsibilities:
Performs data analysis and data management using the latest and best methodologies as implemented in statistical packages (SPSS) including generation of tables and graphs.

Advises and assists investigators in the design of experiments, clinical trials and epidemiological studies.

Assists in data base design, implementation and maintenance of data collected over time for research purposes, including acquisition, editing and reporting.

May assist in design and development of data entry systems.

Functions as an expert statistical consultant primarily in collaborative studies involving the medical community. Currently involved as a key member for study design in a multi-center grant proposal.

Assumes major/exclusive responsibilities on large projects. Expected to oversee and manage all projects involving craniofacial imaging.

Will train and oversee all students, residents and fellows involved in research projects with the craniofacial lab.

Assists investigators by preparing publication quality material including sections for manuscripts and grants.

Oversee and run 3D printing for Plastic surgery department with coordination and reporting to the Director of the Craniofacial Program.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor's degree in Biostatistics, Mathematics, Statists or related fields

Have knowledge if IRB protocol in addition to write and maintain IRB

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of one year of experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Work is performed in a typical physician office practice setting requiring extensive sitting. Position requires ability to speak, see and hear within normal range.
