Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Illustrator II to join our team in support of the Weapon Systems Training Branch (JXNQ) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting a variety of training projects, ensuring high-quality training materials are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Computer Based Training (CBT) Development Support for various projects.
• Develop 3D content using Blender and other graphics software.
• Edit video content, apply voiceovers, and upload SCORM Compliant training materials to training housing programs such as JKO.
• Create graphics support for Technical Manuals in accordance with MIL STDs.
• Collaborate with Instructional Systems Designers (ISD) and Technical Writers to support training development across multiple projects.
• Develop and upload SCORM compliant training material
• Update project documentation and materials as needed.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in 3D Development using Blender and other graphics software.
• Strong video editing skills and experience with voiceover application.
• Familiarity with SCORM standards and training housing programs.
• Knowledge of MIL STDs for Technical Manual graphics.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum three to five years Instructor experience within the last five years.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite required.
• Proficiency with Adobe Captivate preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
• Proficiency w/ photo video capture and editing preferred.
• Proficiency with 3D graphics development required.
• Secret clearance required.
