Job Title: LGT2 Logistician

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented LGT2 Logistician to provide essential logistics and administration support to the Weapon Systems Training Branch (JXNQ) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various documentation and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of training events. Candidate shall develop and manage documents, rosters, certifications, and course material in support of training events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage documents, rosters, certifications, and course materials in support of training events.
  • File, track, and update documents on Shared Drives and the Integrated Product Data Management (iPDM) system.
  • Input Physical Access Control System (PACS) requests and track visitor access throughout the facility.
  • Update course schedules, calendars, rosters, graduation certificates, and employee recall lists.
  • Input documents into the iPDM system.
  • General administrative duties such as copying, faxing, scanning and filling documents.
  • Submit DISS data requests.
  • Greet and escort visitors throughout facility.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum two to three years relevant experience within the last five years.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experienced with maintaining visitor access requirements and greeting visitors.
  • Proficiency with relevant logistics systems and property book systems.
  • Secret clearance required.
