Job Title: ST3 Specialist, Training III - Small Arms Instructor III

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ST3 Specialist, Training III - Small Arms Instructor III to join our team in support of the Weapon Systems Training Branch (JXNQ) at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. This position involves providing services at OCONUS locations in support of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small arms weapon systems and training development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide weapon system inspection, maintenance, documentation, and repair in accordance with USSOCOM Technical Manual specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to document operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Develop and deliver New Equipment Training (NET), maintenance training, and refresher training to military and civilian personnel.
  • Provide logistics documentation and support for training curriculum updates.
  • Ensure all training materials and documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Provide SOF-p weapon systems NET, maintenance, and refresher training to military and civilian personnel at OCONUS locations in support of USSOCOM.
  • Manage small arms, repair parts, tools, and accessories inventory while maintaining accountability for Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and updating logistics records.
  • Provide training curriculum updates, logistics documentation, and report generation support.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education/Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two to three years Instructor experience within the last five years.
  • MIL Instructor Certification required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Small Arms Weapons experience/proficiency required.
  • Secret clearance required.
