Job Title: Production/Inventory Coordinator

Location: San Antonio, TX

Duration: 6 Months

Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Regular and predictable attendance is required

Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage, production and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitors work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to insure parts availability. Identifies and solves problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinates with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Works under general supervision.

  • Inventory Control
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory requirements planning (e.g., Lot sizes, Work in Process [WIP], Inventory Burndown), management, and control (e.g., Kanban, Just In Time [JIT], Kitting, Point of Use [POU], inventory turn rate).
  • Supply Chain Strategy
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain strategies (e.g., inventory reduction, parts kitting, supplier consolidation, optimum flow, lead-time reduction)
  • Warehouse Operations
  • General knowledge of transportation, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to understand and identify potential requirements and impacts (e.g., Electrostatic Discharge [ESD], hazardous material, OSHA, EHS).
