Summary: As a Workday Integration Developer, you will design, build, and support integrations and custom solutions that connect Workday with internal and third-party systems. You will work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams to deliver high-quality, scalable integrations that support and enhance core business processes. This role is ideal for someone who not only brings strong technical expertise but also demonstrates a desire to take ownership of initiatives and drive them forward. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, BIRT, and RaaS reports. Gather and document integration requirements; design robust, scalable solutions in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders. Ensure integration solutions align with Workday best practices and enterprise architecture standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in both development and production environments. Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing integrations. Review test cases, participate in QA efforts, and support user acceptance testing. Document technical designs, system flows, and deployment procedures. Participate in Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives. Collaborate with HR support teams to ensure solutions meet business needs and compliance standards. Independently lead meetings, drive integration projects, and manage stakeholder communications with confidence and clarity. Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying Workday integrations. Hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, BIRT, and RaaS. Strong understanding of Workday HCM, Payroll, and Benefits modules. Proficiency in web service technologies (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON). Experience supporting the full integration lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Familiarity with Workday's integration framework and best practices for optimizing data flows. Understanding of data security, compliance, and audit requirements in cloud-based environments. You are proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking initiative and guiding efforts within a team setting. Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level: The Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant job related experience The Senior Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of relevant job related experience The Lead Specialist/Analyst level requires a Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant job related experience Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Usually, normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
