Job Title: Procurement Operations Coordinator
Schedule: Fully onsite, 5 days a week
Pay Range: $30 - $35/hr
Required Education/Experience
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Option 2: High School Diploma/GED plus at least 5 years of experience in general accounting, budgeting, business administration, or construction contract administration
Job Summary
The Procurement Operations Coordinator will assist in managing procurement and vendor payment activities for Transmission Operations, including both Underground Transmission and Transmission Line Maintenance. This role supports both O&M and capital materials and services, oversees administrative aspects of vegetation management and line maintenance operations, and provides administrative support to leadership and the EH&S Manager.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing procurement and vendor payment activities for Transmission Operations (TLM & UG), including O&M and capital material/services
- Manage administrative functions for Transmission Operations, including vegetation management and line maintenance
- Provide administrative support to management, including preparation of accruals, scheduling, and contract administration
- Ensure implementation of safety, health, and environmental programs in compliance with policies and regulations
- Assist managers in reviewing and updating operating procedures
- Support procurement of equipment, services, and supplies using Oracle EBS and other procurement systems (requisitions, POs, order releases)
- Maintain and update complex classification files and records
- Learn and apply company procedures and systems effectively
- Track and help prepare responses to executive inquiries and customer/local official complaints with thorough, timely communication
- Collaborate with project managers on contractor service matters and participate in planning processes
- Support preparation of bids and evaluate terms and conditions of purchase orders
- Build relationships with management and cross-functional teams to address operational needs
- Ensure procurement and accounting activities align with corporate objectives and initiatives
- Manage administrative tasks for TLM, including GOIs and helicopter patrol scheduling
- Provide support to foresters, supervisors, planners, and managers on contract administration
- Monitor and report on budgets, accruals, and progress toward departmental goals
- Perform additional related assignments as required (Oracle, Maximo)
