Job no: 505508

Work type: Part-Time

Location: Remote

Categories: Dornsife School of Public Health

Job Summary

Children's HealthWatch (CHW) is a multi-site study that assesses how public policies and economic insecurity affect the health and development of very young children. CHW helps policymakers and the public better understand the social and economic factors that affect children's health so they can make well-informed policy decisions that give all children equal opportunities for healthy, successful lives. The Philadelphia site is led by faculty at the Dornsife School of Public Health at Drexel University and data collection occurs in association with St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

The foundation and strength of CHW is ongoing data collection in the form of in-depth interviews with caregivers of very young children. Interviews cover a wide variety of health and social factors, participation in government benefit programs, and more, and responses are collected directly into a REDCap database.

We are seeking an individual to provide analytic support for defined research projects utilizing the data collected at the Philadelphia location. The majority of the position will be running various analyses using R or SAS programs, with a secondary but equally important role in analysis interpretation and documentation for reproducibility.
