SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the VP Financial Education, responsible for the design, development, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of the Credit Union's youth financial literacy education programs, as well as supporting our financial education school, business and community partnerships. Additional: Responsible for completion of applicable training and compliance on federal regulations and APGFCU policies and procedures as related to the duties of this position (Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security as examples, if applicable). QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field. Equivalent and proven demonstrable experience in the above fields can be considered in lieu of the education requirement. License/Certification: Teaching Certification preferred Experience: Minimum three years' experience, in developing, designing, delivering and evaluating education presentations in a variety of formats. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be bilingual, fluent in both Spanish and English. Knowledge of education administration and curriculum development. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies. Dedicated and passionate individual, committed to providing quality personal finance education to youth and adults. Must possess knowledge and demonstrate understanding and skill in the research, design, development and evaluation of financial education and training programs. Able to conduct education/training needs analysis/surveys and evaluate results of said surveys. Understand the socio-economic aspects of poverty that contribute to financial illiteracy. Must be energetic, analytical, creative, innovative, resourceful, well-organized, self- starter with the ability to work independently and as part of an effective team. Leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills are required (oral, visual and written). Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required. Moderate PC experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Knowledge and skilled in the use of audio/visual recording and presentation equipment is preferred. Physical Requirements: Schedule requires flexibility with occasional early morning, after hours evening, and weekend work. Physical activities include a combination of constant sitting, constant hand motion, frequent standing and walking. Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds.
