Talent Acquisition Consultant
The Talent Acquisition Consultant will be responsible for effectively providing Human Resources Talent Acquisition consultative support to a business unit and positions under moderate supervision, takes the lead role with a medium to large number of clients, moderate to high organizational complexity (variety of exempt and non-exempt roles), and responsibility for national line(s) of business in multiple geographic markets.
Position Responsibilities:
Strategic Advisor -- Provides overall talent acquisition direction and execution for a business unit(s) in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager.


  • Candidate Generation -- Lead active sourcing and recruiting for qualified candidates utilizing various search tools, processes, and strategy.
  • Assessment Management -- Ensures processes are completed including screening qualified candidates to assess for basic qualifications as well as to assess experience and competency fit utilizing appropriate selection tools are executed.
  • Candidate Management -- Lead the successful execution and delivery of full life cycle recruiting services for candidates ultimately attracting them to Comerica.
  • Hiring Manager Management --Ensure successful hiring manager management including learning their unique needs and requirements, maintaining communication throughout process, presenting fully qualified candidates while managing interviews and offers.
  • HR Partnerships - Conduct regular update meetings with HR Consultants to identify future needs and share information to ensure a one-team approach to the business units supported. Partners with others in HR (Comp, Benefits, Technology, etc.) to ensure a positive and effective hiring process.


Operational Management


  • Reporting - Communication -- Provide accurate and timely reporting and communication of staffing results and metrics.
  • Compliance Management - Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and recommend corrections when necessary. Ensure completion of necessary compliance related training.
  • Vendor Management -- Manage contingent and retained outside vendor relationships on specific searches.
  • Continuous Improvement - Continuously discover and request technology, process, and policy enhancements of the national programs team to improve results.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited University
  • 4 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Recruiting and candidate generation experience
  • 2 years of experience using major applicant tracking systems
  • 2 years of experience with candidate search techniques
  • 2 years of project participation experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position includes onsite and remote work days. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
