**Please note: This position is on-site and based at the FNB Financial Center in Pittsburgh, PA. Candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate to Western PA. This role is not available for hybrid or remote work options.** Position Title:Director of Infrastructure Services Business Unit:Technology Reports to:Chief Information Officer Position Overview: This is the most senior role in the infrastructure function within IT, accountable for IT infrastructure throughout the organization. This role reports to the CIO and has line management responsibilities for server, database, and network engineering. The role holder brings experience, knowledge, and future vision for transforming the IT infrastructure function including its strategy, operating model, product and service offerings and workforce. As a key member of the senior IT leadership team this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy. Primary Responsibilities: Sets the mission, vision, and strategy of the Infrastructure Services organization to maximize the success of business and IT enterprise initiatives. Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business key stakeholders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT infrastructure services to meet those needs. Provides infrastructure technology direction and leadership for the corporation. Actively participates in long range planning and execution of infrastructure initiatives to support the corporation's operational and strategic business needs. Actively participates in the development of the annual financial operating plan for the IT organization and prepares monthly commentary regarding financial performance for their team such as operating expense and capital investment and develops full year forecasts.Prepares business case and financial analysis for infrastructure investments. Manages all HR related matters for their team including the development of performance goals and objectives which are aligned to IT and the corporation, hiring, coaching, performance reviews and corrective action. Develops and maintains SLAs for all infrastructure services. Ensures ongoing operational activities are aligned with SLAs such as achieving daily processing goals, appropriate security, backup and recovery expectations, system performance and ensuring timely installation of current technology product releases. Ensures solid and focused execution of third party resource providers which are used to augment team capacity. Ensures services for various server, database, network, and telecommunications needs are performed within stated financial parameters, fulfill the contractual obligations and deliver high quality services to the corporation.Prepares and monitors key metrics to track performance. Proactively manages infrastructure environment to ensure cost effective platforms such as capacity planning and product release management and to ensure operational efficiency of service delivery functions.Looks beyond current technologies and operational practices to ensure delivery of optimal infrastructure services and encourages innovation and experimentation with new solutions. Collaborates with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to ensure Infrastructure Services contributes to, embraces, and applies security strategy. Adheres to and follows change management and risk management practices of the corporation's IT organization. Ensures high quality infrastructure services which are essential for the company's business applications and ensures timely resolution of infrastructure issues as well as the development of action plans to prevent recurrence. Improves IT resilience by executing strategies that improve reliability, availability, and disaster recovery readiness. Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
