Sr. Analyst, SBS Operations Training & Communication

The Sr. Analyst, Training & Communication is primarily responsible for supporting the successful planning, development, and execution of strategic change management planning, communication campaigns and training programs within the global Sherwin Business Services (SBS) organization. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring SBS initiatives and projects are supported through targeted communications to employees and stakeholders at all levels of the Company through various communication channels, and via training programs for a range of domestic and global projects to help support our organization's strategies. The incumbent will work closely with SBS Leadership, project teams, and functional teams within various business groups and back-office organizations on a global level. In addition, this position will play a pivotal role in developing and managing SBS SharePoint sites and content.

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Develop a detailed knowledge and understanding of the SBS business strategy, objectives, and goals of supported initiatives

  • Create and execute comprehensive communication and training plans and develop communication materials to strategically socialize changes to the business. Oversee and support the execution of training efforts and communication campaigns

  • Write, edit, and proofread communications including employee and leadership communications, intranet and/or SharePoint site content, and stand-alone communications such as presentations

  • Establish relationships with key project leaders and business stakeholders

  • Support various SBS projects, initiatives, and new technology implementations, as well as transition programs. Understand the change impact of and articulate changes clearly to a diverse set of teams.

  • Manage and develop new content, and maintain and update existing content across SBS SharePoint sites


POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Marketing, Human Resources, Business Administration, Instructional Design, or a related field.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 3+ years of experience with communications, training development, change management, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, developing, and delivering communications and training
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different stakeholders and platforms
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must work autonomously and be able to communicate well at an executive level with key stakeholders
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of experience with the development of communications in a corporate setting

TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  • Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Clear and concise communication in verbal and written form
    • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively across various levels of the company
    • Presentation skills to audiences of all levels and backgrounds
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced work environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications
  • Experience with creating and developing Microsoft SharePoint
