Job Summary

The Data Analyst III provides enterprise database support. The focus is on database administration, integrations, reporting and Business Intelligence through the translation of business requirements into technical designs and providing documentation on technical specifications.

This position is located in Tulsa, OK and is required to work in the office at least 3 days per week.


Essential Functions

  • Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
  • Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
  • Serves as the Tier 3 escalation point for any database related application issues.
  • Researches, analyzes and remediates database, integration, reporting, business intelligence and custom application specific vulnerabilities.
  • Engages with customers, gathers requirements and performs business assessments to provide design, configuration, implementation, maintenance, upgrade and patch planning for reporting, data integration and development needs for the business focused enterprise application portfolio. May also manage outside vendors as needed.
  • Seeks opportunities to enhance organizational operational cohesiveness. Providing suggestions to gaps that existing in current policies and procedures then delegates tasks to others within the team.
  • Acts as a mentor and project lead for application related initiatives performing project management duties and delegating tasks to others within the team.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert within the database, reporting and development focus. Advises management on best practices and industry standards.
  • Performs other responsibilities as required or assigned.


    Qualifications

    • 5+ years' experience database administration, reporting, or business intelligence
    • Associate's degree in Computer Science or equivalent job-related experience/knowledge
    • Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques
    • Experience in software and hardware support
    • Experience in the use of SQL Server, Oracle, PowerShell, and Linux Shell scripting languages
    • Demonstrates an awareness of database administration, backup and recovery, business intelligence and integrations
    • Knowledge of Internet search techniques and ability to obtain information from the Internet
    • Strong customer service orientation with problem solving and troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to maintain confidential information in a discreet manner


    Physical/Special Requirements

    • This position will require working outside of normal business hours upon occasion.
    • Occasional travel may be required
