Job Description
The role will provide the technical leadership necessary to ensure the successful development, integration, and ongoing management of EMS across multiple departments. It will also act as a centralized consultant for campus partners, guiding them through the adoption of EMS and streamlining workflows to ensure consistency, efficiency, and accuracy in space usage and event scheduling. System Management & Configuration:
- Possess expert-level knowledge of EMS configuration, including pricing structures, user templates, permissions, invoicing, fiscal reconciliation, automated notifications, and workflow development
- Lead system integration efforts with other campus tools and platforms
Workflow & Training Development:
- Establish event cycles and corresponding EMS configurations
- Design and deliver training for staff, student employees, and campus partners
- Maintain comprehensive written and video training materials
Project Leadership & Technical Oversight:
- Lead EMS-related projects with varying complexity
- Collaborate with IT, finance, and university system partners to ensure system enhancement and troubleshoot issues
Confidential Information Management:
- Handle sensitive data with professionalism
- Train staff on proper use and management of confidential information within EMS systems
Policy & Process Integration:
- Assist in the development of policies related to EMS use, space management, and fiscal operations
- Develop efficient, scalable workflows that enhance departmental communication and consistency
Support & Supervision:
- Provide daily EMS administrative support
- Supervise direct reports and ensure event cycle processes are completed
- Offer technical guidance and customer service support to users
Campus Collaboration & Impact:
- Partner with departments across campus to configure EMS to meet diverse needs
- Manage facility use agreements and support cross-functional coordination efforts
Technical Theatre Support for CPAS:
- Serve as a production consultant for CPAS events
- Assist with touring show logistics including labor, hospitality, and lodging
- Participate as a board member or technical advisor
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $59,738-$65,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
