Our Client helps organizations leverage technology to improve business outcomes. ________________________________________ About the Role: Our Client is seeking a hands-on, entrepreneurial IT Manager to lead a team of 20 professionals within our Professional Managed Services division. This contract-to-hire role is ideal for someone with a startup mindset or experience running their own business, who brings a diverse IT experience and strong leadership skills. You'll report directly to the VP of IT and play a key role in shaping the future of our IT operations and service delivery. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 20 IT professionals across infrastructure, networking, and desktop support. Oversee day-to-day operations of the Managed Services team, ensuring high availability and performance. Collaborate with leadership to align IT strategies with business goals. Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability initiatives. Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. ________________________________________ Technologies & Tools You'll Work With: Networking & Security: Cisco (CCNP/CCIE preferred), Fortinet, FortiGate, firewalls, Aruba Virtualization & Infrastructure: VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V, High Availability systems Cloud & Productivity: Microsoft Azure (AZ-900 or AZ-104 preferred), Office 365 (MS-900, MS-100 or MS-101 preferred) Storage & Systems: Enterprise storage solutions, Microsoft Windows OS (multiple versions) End-User Tools: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.), remote support tools, endpoint management ________________________________________ Qualifications: Proven experience in IT leadership roles, ideally in startup environments or as a business owner. Strong experience across IT domains: infrastructure, networking, desktop support, and systems administration. Experience managing and scaling technical teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. ________________________________________ Certifications (Preferred): oMicrosoft MS-900, MS-100 or MS-101 oAzure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator (AZ-104) oCisco CCNP or CCIE oFortinet NSE certifications oVMware certifications Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
