We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Vice President, HR Business Partner, Corporates to join our leadership team. Key Responsibilities

As Vice President, HRBP - Corporates, Partnerships, and Professional Services, you will report into the Head of HR, Customer Segments. You will support three key areas - 1) our Corporates business segment, 2) pan-TR Partnerships & Alliances function, and 3) pan-TR Professional Services organization, representing an employee population of approximately 2000 employees.

You will have accountability for:

Strategic Partnership and Innovation

  • Partner with our Corporates leadership team to drive the strategic people agenda and align HR strategies with business objectives

  • Collaborate with key teams to foster innovation and transformation within the organization

  • Lead change management initiatives, acting as a change agent to drive business growth

Talent Strategy and Organizational Development

  • Develop and implement talent strategy and organizational development plans using predictive analytics and scenario modelling

  • Identify future capabilities and align talent strategies with industry trends and business needs

  • Strengthen the talent pool through succession planning, talent flow and career management

Business Partnering and Coaching

  • Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and consultant for leaders to improve their performance and drive business growth

  • Provide coaching, development and mentoring to a small team of direct report HRBPs

  • Build genuine partnerships and consensus across diverse teams

Organizational Health and Effectiveness

  • Improve business effectiveness through operational enhancements aligned with the business model

  • Promote an inclusive and values-driven culture

  • Utilize metrics and analytics to guide management decisions and improve organizational performance

Location

  • This is a hybrid role that will be based in one of our hub locations in New York City, Minneapolis, Dallas, Ann Arbor, or Toronto.

About You

You are a fit for the Vice President, HRBP if you possess the following:

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in HR, with increasing responsibility or related business leadership experience

  • Experience in high-functioning software development/technology-based organizations or similar

  • Experience supporting go-to-market and sales organizations, preferably in a software/digital environment

  • Strong consulting skills and strategic advisor with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

  • Expertise in organizational design, change management, and talent management

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, multicultural international environment

  • M&A experience is a plus

  • Demonstrates learning agility and strong business acumen

Critical Leadership Capabilities:

  • Collaborating and Influencing: Build genuine partnerships and consensus across diverse teams

  • Leading Change: Advocate for innovation and support leadership through business shifts

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $197,540 - $366,860.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $171,500 - $318,500.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
