The Clinical Practice Data Analyst Specialist will work under the supervision of the Director of Finance and provide assistance to the Director and Assistant Director of Finance. Responsibilities may include gathering and analyzing financial data, generating and auditing reports, and serving as both point-person for general day-to-day operations, and liaison for activities with external agencies and/or University Office of Business Financial Services (OBFS) representatives. The role also includes monitoring and organizing insurance payor contracts and addendums to support the analysis of payor trends and contractual rates as part of a broader contract management and revenue cycle effort. Duties & Responsibilities: a) Utilize EHR reporting and querying tools to define, locate, and retrieve accurate information. b) Reconcile data inconsistencies to select optimal information using resources available, which may include consultation with clinical and business intelligence experts as necessary.
