RAYUS Radiology is looking for an Applications Support & Training Specialist to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As an Applications Support & Training Specialist, you will be responsible for administrative and training duties, with a primary focus on data integrity, workflow optimization, and user support. This role supports key systems such as the Referring Physician Database (RPD), Radiology Information System (RIS), Provider Portal and Patient Portal ensuring accurate and reliable data. The Applications & Support Coordinator resolves data flow issues, manages user access, and collaborates with internal teams and IT to troubleshoot and implement solutions. In addition, this role contributes to related market training by identifying inefficiencies and helping deploy new tools or features. This position is full-time, working Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

(90%) Administrative and Operational Duties



  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of provider, location and patient data by regularly reviewing and updating system records.
  • Investigate and resolve data-related discrepancies such as failed fax transmissions and duplicate patient records.
  • Manage user accounts and access permissions for the Provider and Patient Portals.
  • Provide support and technical assistance to internal departments, healthcare providers, and patients for issues related to portals.
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and reduce errors.
  • Create and maintain related workflow documentation, training materials, and support resources.
  • Support team member and market training, onboarding, and performance by providing mentorship and sharing best practices.
  • Monitor and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring timely and effective responses.
  • Work closely with IT and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve interface or system-related issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Assist with coordination and oversight of departmental projects and ongoing initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with leadership to support operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Required:



  • Associate's degree in a healthcare related field, or the equivalent in relevant and applicable experience
  • Three (3) years' experience in healthcare, utilizing Electronic Health Record systems
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applications; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.



Preferred:



  • Bachelor's degree Health Informatics or Healthcare Administration
  • Five (5) years' experience in healthcare
