Under the direction of the Risk and Safety Solutions (RSS) Associate Director of
DevOps, the UC Ready System Administrator & Technical Lead is a critical role responsible for managing, administering and enhancing the UC Ready Risk Management platform, a solution developed in partnership with Fusion Risk Management, built on the Salesforce platform and used across the UC System to develop Business/Mission Continuity Plans, Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), and Information Technology Disaster Recovery (IT DR) Plans. The incumbent plays a lead role in the technical administration of UC Ready, leveraging advanced system administration skills, project management expertise, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful operation, enhancement, and evolution of the system. Leads training programs, driving change management initiatives, and strategic projects related to system improvements and automation efforts. Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues and performs ongoing enhancements and technical modifications.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Salesforce certified administrator
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree or relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of Salesforce-based or similar platforms, including troubleshooting, system upgrades, and user management.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including implementing system upgrades, changes, and enhancements.
- Experience leading technical initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and managing relationships with external vendors.
- Advanced technical expertise in system administration, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, system security, and integration of enterprise-level applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and present technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong ability to write clear, concise technical documentation and create training materials for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and adapt to new functional areas.
- Advanced knowledge of Salesforce products, including Data Loader and other Salesforce functionalities.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex system enhancements and upgrades.

Risk and Safety Solutions (RSS) was founded in 2008 to provide innovative technology solutions supporting the University of California (UC), one of the world's leading research institutions. Work Environment
