Director, Brand Marketing

We are looking for a Director, Brand Marketing, to help us develop long-term strategic plans that meet top-line sales, margin, and profit objectives for the Trex brand. As a Trex Director, Brand Marketing, you will be looked to as an innovator and are accountable for advertising, new product ideation, product support, omni-channel marketing, point of sale, brand collateral materials, and any other area that directly influences brand success. This role is a key member of our Marketing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop operating plans and execute strategies needed to meet top-line sales, margin contribution to profit objectives.
• Develop the strategic direction for the brand and gain alignment with key internal constituents.
• Develop and track performance metrics and successful criteria for all brand marketing activities.
• Lead and actively participate in the product innovation process.
• Ensure all marketing activities are on strategy and consistent with spending principles/budgeting; Establish brand priorities.
• Make full and effective use of available resources, particularly other functional areas (R&D, Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Legal, HR)
• Serve as the primary contact with Product, Digital and Channel Marketing Teams.
• Manage budgets and initiatives to deliver EBITA.
• Responsible for talent acquisition, retention, and development of the brand marketing team.

DIRECT REPORTS

Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for a team of 3-5 direct reports and 4-10 indirect reports.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with a bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience in brand management. An MBA is preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as a Senior Brand Manager or Director of Marketing Strategy.

SALARY

Base Salary Range: $220,000 - $275,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
