The Sales Clinical Liaison will execute sales strategy to generate referrals and ultimately drive revenue for all core services. The specific responsibilities of a Clinical Liaison include but are not limited to referral account qualification and management, generation of referrals, maintenance of professional network, event implementation, and identification of strategic partnership opportunities. The Clinical Liaison builds positive relationships with key referral sources. The Clinical Liaison provides expertise to referral sources and potential clients and their families. Changing the age-old story starts with you - let's get you hired. Wage Range: $80,000-$95,000 annually depending on experience. Plus, mileage reimbursement or a fleet car.
Service Area: Twin Cities and Surrounding Areas Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Position Functions and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources in assigned territory
- Foster an environment of teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement
- Development and execution of strategic sales plan to drive referrals and profitable growth
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities and market changes to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Develops weekly sales plan/territory management
- Follows AIDINC (approach, interview, demonstrate, validate, negotiate and close) Process/Integrity selling
- Completes Account Qualification
- Prepares pre-call and post call plans
- Documents and tracks sales activities, maintaining accurate records and keep account profile information and contacts up to date
- Proactive sourcing of new accounts and review of unassigned accounts in territory to determine business growth potential
- Understand market competition and how Lifespark sells against other providers
- Complete competitive analysis and Understand SWOT - Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats
- Conducts client consultations if applicable and complete related follow-up activities
- Complete consultations if/when needed and present and articulate the benefits of our core services to individuals, families and healthcare professionals
- Assist in the development and execution of Lifespark Presentations
- Attends Conferences, Events and participate in Trade Show set-up/take-down and conference attendance
- Participates in associations, functions, and professional networks
- Make recommendations for new initiatives
- Actively seeks and identifies opportunities for strategic business partnerships
- Establishes and maintains relationships with key referral sources in the market
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare field (preferably home and community-based services, Medicare Home Care and Hospice)
- Clinical background
- College degree in business, health care or sales field.
- Strong understanding of home care services and the needs of seniors
- Knowledge of market landscape
- Strong professional network
- Ability to perform presentation and public speaking
- Proficient with technology and technological applications: Microsoft Office, Smart Phone, Calendaring, Wi-Fi, EMR, Internet Browsing, Printer, CRM
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to travel and attend industry events as required
- Empathy, compassion and a genuine interest in improving the quality of life for those in need of care
