Essential Duties

  • Provides consultation, performs analytics, and/or maintains personnel files, communications, and materials for the work unit through various mediums
  • Executes and audits work transactions and changes, adhering to established policies and procedures to meet anticipated deadlines
  • Receives, responds to, and resolves employee questions and problems
  • Represents the unit/program at institutional workshops, informational meetings, and training sessions
  • Contributes to the development, implementation, interpretation, and revision of work unit Human Resources processes and procedures according to institutional and legal rules and regulations

Other Duties

  • Collaborate and handle employee and visitor inquiries
  • Manage HR projects as defined by leadership
  • Help implement HR business process improvement
  • Resolving or assisting with basic employee and manager issues

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities
  • Ability to interpret HR policy, procedures, and practices
  • Knowledge of recruitment, payroll, and benefits
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Workday
  • Knowledge of or exposure to HR Analytics
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

$60,000 - $65,000 depending on qualifications and experience. Employees in this position can expect to receive benefits such as generous vacation, holidays and paid time off; competitive insurances and saving accounts; and retirement benefits.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management, Human Resources, or similar

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Workday

  • Knowledge of or exposure to HR Analytics
