Summary of Position

We are seeking an independent contractor who is a strategic, detail-oriented Grant Researcher to identify high-potential public and private funding opportunities for our cybersecurity workforce development programs. This role will help scale our reach by sourcing grant opportunities from federal, state, local, foundation, and corporate sources.

The duration of the contract is approximately 6 months with average monthly hours at 40-60 hours(10-15 hours/week) and will work closely with the Director, Mission Business Development. This is a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Research funding opportunities and assess alignment
• Track deadlines and provide summaries
• Coordinate handoff to proposal writers
• Build and Maintain tracking dashboards

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years in grant research with experience in workforce development, education, or cybersecurity
• Familiarity with Grants.gov, SAM.gov, Foundation Directory Online

The hourly rate for this independent contractor role is between $35 and $65. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location and relevant experience, education, certifications, and years of experience. There is no guarantee an offer will be at the top of the posted range based on the salary analysis.
