Key Responsibilities: *Provide 24/7 operational and clinical leadership for the CVOR, overseeing nursing practice, patient care quality, staffing, and budget management. *Foster a collaborative environment that supports innovation, professional development, and shared governance. *Ensure excellence in surgical care delivery while driving performance improvement initiatives. *Serve as a strategic partner to physician leaders, perioperative services, and hospital administration. *Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing nursing team committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care. Qualifications: *Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field preferred. *CVOR nursing experience is required. *Previous nursing leadership or management experience is strongly preferred. *Active RN licensure in the District of Columbia. *Specialty certification in nursing or administration required within 2 years of hire.
