The Benefits Supervisor will lead 1-2 members of the Benefits department in the areas of Compliance, Leave of Absences, and Wellness Program Administration along with ad hoc benefit related projects.
Please Note: This is a hybrid role on our Fenton, MO campus that is in the office Tuesday - Thursday. Primary Responsibilities 40% - Leave: Takes a lead role to coordinate and support complex leave issues. Leads the Benefits Coordinator(s) on escalated issues to provide guidance and ensure compliance on all leaves of absence and reasonable accommodation process, including Short and Long-Term Disability programs, state leaves, Paid Parental and Caregiver leave, and FMLA. Also oversees Worker's Compensation claims and OSHA reporting. 30% - Compliance: Works closely with the Benefits team to ensure compliance for all required benefits and leave laws by researching laws and providing recommended actions. 30% - Other Benefit Projects: Supports the Wellness Specialist to administer the company's wellness program, including wellness incentive earning opportunities, and serves as a backup to this role. Provide project management support on new initiatives and provide support to other members of the Benefits department as a backup to the Sr. Manager - Health & Retirement Benefits. Qualifications
