This job posting is for an Engineer within the Generation East Engineering team. This position provides engineering support for a coal fired station, simple cycle stations, and a Hydro Station by resolving problems, creating and implementing engineering solutions, and participating in cross functional teams. This is done while utilizing a strong technical conscience and maintaining a good questioning attitude.

• Providing technical guidance for problem-solving
• Representing the company professionally
• Overseeing contractor work
• Preparing work packages for equipment repairs
• Managing outage inspections and closures
• Providing support in work management process
• Supporting risk assessment and plant health initiatives
• Maintaining accurate records
• Developing positive working relationships and demonstrating effective verbal and written communication skills
• Applying fundamental engineering concepts and practices
• Managing engineering projects with increasing independence
• Preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
• Contributing to team decision-making and project management

• Must have obtained Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• A Master's degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the B.S. Engineering degree.
