Description

Position Summary:

The Early Learning Mental Health Program Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing early learning mental health initiatives and developing and expanding programs for the benefit of children, families, and early learning educators within Central Washington. This position supports the Regional Director of Provider Services with contract deliverables and program design to advance and enhance the work within Catholic Charities' Early Learning Division.

Responsibilities:



  • Lead, supervise, and guide all early learning mental health service delivery
  • Provide onboarding, ongoing professional development and direct supervision of Early Learning Mental Health Consultant staff to include reflective supervision, performance evaluations, and support to all direct reports. Facilitate all aspects of scheduled staff meetings.
  • Provide first point of contact and triage for all incoming referrals and assign caseloads for Early Learning Mental Health Consultant staff.
  • Develop, foster and continue partnerships with program funders, state agencies, and program consultants for all early learning mental health initiatives
  • Participate in meetings with community partners and contract agencies as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance at necessary local, regional, and state meetings that align with Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) service delivery or as identified by the supervisor.
  • Assist in establishing standards and procedures for service delivery.
  • Participate in bi-monthly meetings with the Regional Director of Provider Services to monitor the progress of contract deliverables within assigned initiatives
  • Collaborate to ensure early learning mental health initiatives are aligned to provide wraparound collaborative support services to early learning educators
  • Track data and prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required by contracts
  • Ensure ongoing quality assurance through case record reviews, shadow visits, monitoring of database entry, etc.
  • May provide direct services to early learning providers, children, or families (in person or virtual) and/or maintain a small Tier 1 caseload

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, as well as keyboard fingering, talking, hearing and adequate vision on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.

Non-Physical Requirements:

Education



  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral science


Experience



  • 1yearof experience providing clinical supervision preferred
  • Experience and knowledge in mental health symptoms and interventions for young children from infancy through 5 years old
  • Training in evidence-based practices desired


Special Skills



  • Bilingual & biliterate in English and Spanish preferred
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholder and external partner organizations.
  • Experience in data collection and evaluation processes preferred
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and assume responsibility for completion of tasks
  • Demonstrated effective verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to travel both in- and out-of-state, and attend evening or weekend meetings up to 25% of time
  • Possess a collaborative style with respect for diversity
  • Flexibility in work hours and ability to work under pressure and unanticipated constraints
  • Intermediate level skills in Word, Excel, Power Pointand Outlook
  • Experience with database entry and/or management


Licensure, Registration, Certification



  • Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) license in Washington State
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential.
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License and agency required minimum liability insurance
  • Must be deemed insurable as determined by Catholic Charities' liability insurance provider


Employment is conditional upon:



  • Being cleared by criminal background check and fingerprinting when required


Wage:$87,500 - $97,500 per year, depending on experience

Schedule:Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
