The University of Missouri School of Law Library Job Description
The University of Missouri School of Law Library seeks a Collection Management Librarian who will provide excellent library services to the Law School community. This position provides leadership to a team of staff responsible for all aspects of collection management: bibliographic access and control, collection development, acquisitions, serials, and digital resources. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, collegial, flexible and adaptable to change, a strong problem-solver, a team-builder, and an excellent communicator. Responsibilities:
Qualifications
Minimum - Master's degree from an A.L.A. accredited school of information or library science by time of appointment. Minimum three to five years of experience in a library technical services department or related experience. Candidates will be evaluated on: Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Depending on experience and qualifications, the person selected will be hired in the rank of Librarian II-IV. At the University of Missouri, law librarians are NTT faculty with security of position. Support is provided by the Law Library for professional development. Application Materials
