Short Description

This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the end user desktop platform to support the enterprise infrastructure in accordance with the IT strategy; ensuring all systems are working at optimal levels and supporting the development of new technologies and system requirements. Identifies and documents all integration points across the desktop platform for new and existing systems and applications, including all third-party vendor systems. Provides technical direction and guidance to the desktop team when implementing new systems. Uses critical thinking in troubleshooting, researching and solving technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.

Manage and maintain desktop system architecture and strategy to meet business, functional, and technology requirements.

  • Develop techniques to improve desktop system performance and optimize hardware utilization.
  • Ensures the integration of all aspects of software solutions including upstream, downstream, and surround systems.
  • Provides resolutions and recommendations to leadership or analysts regarding all systems and solutions that affect clinical, revenue cycle, and business systems.
  • Analyzes and resolves complex issues escalated by analysts or leadership.
  • Provides technical knowledge as needed by analysts or leadership.
  • Identifies policies and requirements that drive a specific solution.
  • Work with analyst teams and stakeholders to build, test and maintain integration points across the desktop platform.
  • Implements and follows internal Information Technology break/fix process and change management processes.
  • Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis and create effective technical solutions to support the needs of the business.
  • Work with business users to identify and document current state and future state workflows for a given application or solution.

Experience Required

Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience is required.


Education Requirements

  • High School Graduate/GED/Equivalent Work Exp required.
  • Vocational / Technical School / Diploma Program preferred.
  • Associate's degree preferred.

License/Certification Requirements

Multiple application-specific system certifications desired.


Special Requirements

  • Hands on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
  • Customer Oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of network security practices and anti-virus.
  • Knowledge of desktop systems imaging and troubleshooting.
Hourly Rate Min $44
Hourly Rate Max $74


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
