Information Analyst II - Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (Philadelphia, PA): Extract and transform data from a variety of clinical and supporting non-clinical data sources, develop data models, automate data pipelines, and write complex reports to support clinical research and enable quality improvement initiatives. Duties include: extract information from Clinical Data Warehouses utilizing SQL; independently meet with researchers to coordinate request priorities and communicate status updates; define strategy and develop new data models to meet the needs of individual project requests; lead operational functions within the team, such as developing processes for management and maintenance of automated report assets, and help to develop and maintain educational resources such as best practices for data extractions in specialized domains such as recruitment for clinical trials; write complex reports and automate data pipelines utilizing programming languages such as Python and R; determine project workloads, assign tasks, and oversee junior Analysts' work product; make presentations to colleagues, researchers, and Administration when requested; and stay current with clinical reporting capabilities across the industry, including developments at clinical data systems providers, other hospital and academic research centers, and general user forums. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics or a closely related field and 3 years of experience, or alternatively a Master's degree in same and 1 year of experience. Experience must include data extraction/manipulation in a healthcare environment utilizing the Epic electronic health record system, Epic Clarity, SQL, SAP Crystal Reports, Python, REDCap, Docker, and Kubernetes.
