Position description

DEPARTMENT OF MUSIC - PART-TIME LECTURER POOL

The Department of Music seeks to fill part-time Lecturer position(s) for the academic year 2025-2026 on an 'as needed' basis. These individual(s) will serve a number of program priorities in our undergraduate degree programs.

Qualified applicants will be contacted where positions are available.

Appointments are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term. Applicants must be available on short notice.

Examples of potential opportunities to teach include the following areas:

* Instrumental (Classical Strings and Piano) and Vocal Performance, and other instruments as needed

* Ensembles, including Choir

* Core academic courses

The successful candidate will have a relevant Master's degree or equivalent professional experience, and previous relevant teaching experience.
