Description Commercial HVAC-R Service Technician Position Summary: Schwickert's Tecta America is seeking motivated individuals to join our team. Our HVAC-R Service Technicians are individuals who are skilled and wanting to grow within their career. This position involves performing HVAC-R system troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work on commercial HVAC-R systems. *SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR UP TO A $1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!* Starting pay ranges from $25-$42+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: HVAC-R system troubleshooting and repair of units. Start-up of installed commercial HVAC-R systems. Perform regular maintenance and servicing of commercial HVAC units. Ensure compliance with all applicable HVAC codes and maintain a safe work environment. On Call duties as required. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: Valid Driver's License. Technical school degree desired; or equivalent combination of education and experience but not required. 3 years + experience preferred. Ability to learn and take direction from supervisors. Must be EPA certified or willing to take the EPA exam within a month of starting date. NATE certification or similar, DDC/Pneumatic control experience, boilers license, and refrigeration background is desired but not required.
