Statement of Purpose: This position will be responsible for overseeing the development, coordination, and execution of digital communications efforts, including all NIB, NSITE, and Heard & Empowered social media channels. He/she will collaborate with multiple departments and external stakeholders to create video and audio stories, podcast episodes, digital and print graphics, social media content, and written materials to promote the organization and our mission. He/she will report to the Program Director, Communications, and work closely with the rest of the Marketing and Communications team in coordinating and tracking the production of collateral, advertising, and marketing materials, including product information/data/photos. Responsibility for Work of Others: Coordinate with stakeholders (which can include Communications staff, other NIB staff, NIB Associated Agency staff and vendors) to ensure that projects are executed as intended, and that projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will not supervise or be responsible for the work of others, except as part of a project work group. This position will be responsible for multiple on-going projects and deliverables. Supervision
Limited. Education
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, multimedia communications, or relevant discipline from a regionally accredited university or college or other related field or equivalent experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience is also acceptable. Training and Specialized Knowledge
- An ability to tell a story using words and images and create content that attracts an audience.
- Skilled in long-form, short-form, and real-time content creation and distribution strategies and tactics. Familiarity with principles of marketing and the ability to adapt them as indicated by data.
- Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel.
- Intermediate experience with the Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Experience with audio and video editing is preferred.

- Must be detail oriented and organized to manage multiple projects and deadlines at one time.
- Ability to work efficiently unaided and within a team in a fast-paced environment.

Experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience in marketing communications, business administration, data management, and/or print production coordination.
Travel Less than 10% Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing
- Promote the NIB brand and products/services by creating, editing, and posting engaging content on multiple platforms, such as YouTube, social media, and podcasts.
- Collaborate actively with relevant teams to coordinate and manage multiple content calendars to maintain a consistent publishing/posting schedule. Define the owners of each deliverable pertaining to marketing and communications campaigns. Clearly define content and collateral development and distribution responsibilities during the various stages of a product marketing campaign. Manage performance dashboards and report on progress.
- Lead the development of content initiatives, ensuring consistency in terms of style, quality, tone, and optimization for search and user experience for all channels.
- Lead the printing and production process for marketing and communications collateral, including magazines, banners, brochures, and other pieces.
- Conduct ongoing testing to gauge content and image accuracy, collaborating with owners to revise as needed.
- Participate in developing and executing marketing and communications campaigns, including email, social media, and webinars, to generate leads and support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with the other communications team members on marketing and advertising projects.
- Assist in the management of the online photo library - organize and tag incoming photos, fulfill photo requests for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in keeping the workrooms stocked with current marketing collateral.
- Proof design projects to ensure current brand guidelines are followed.
- Provide design assistance on projects on an as needed basis.
- Assist with proofing and copy-editing NIB marketing and communications collateral.
- Assist with content on channel support portals for products including images, product descriptions, and other product characteristics.
- Assist with department administrative functions, including mailing/shipping, invoicing, PowerPoint production, and scheduling.
