Senior Landman

R360, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate opening for a highly motivated, results-oriented Senior Landman in at our office in The Woodlands, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating and managing mineral rights, leases, and land contracts
• Conducting due diligence for property and company transactions
• Ensuring regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Collaborating with legal teams, geologists, and stakeholders
• Resolving land disputes and curing title defects
• Leading teams and overseeing junior landmen or contractors
• Preparing lease agreements and tracking rental receipts
• Researching ownership records and title histories
• Drafting and executing legal documents such as deeds and contracts

Qualifications:

• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms
• Legal acumen in property law and energy regulations
• Excellent research abilities for title and land use analysis
• Clear communication to build trust with landowners and stakeholders
• Technical proficiency with GIS and land management software
• Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Land Management, Business, or Law
