Job Summary

Manages major accounts by building strategic client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring long-term customer success. Coordinates account strategies, benchmarks performance metrics, and defines key business objectives to maximize profitability. This role includes oversight of the specialty division-encompassing low voltage cable in electrical, HVAC, and security distribution-as well as the MRO division, ensuring these areas are integrated into strategic planning and execution. Advises with managers to develop tactical and operational plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure quality and consistency in account management practices.

Key Responsibilities

* Advises management on sales strategies, market trends, and potential growth opportunities, contributing to top-level decision-making and organizational goals.
* Aligns the sales organization's goals and objectives with the broader corporate strategy, ensuring that all initiatives contribute to the overall success of the business.
* Controls resources for the sales department, ensuring efficient allocation and use of human capital, technology, and financial resources to achieve sales targets and enhance productivity.
* Develops a team of high-performing sales leaders, providing guidance and direction to ensure that the team is well-equipped to execute the company's sales strategy and meet performance targets.
* Designs and implements sales programs, processes, and methodologies that enhance sales effectiveness and align with business objectives, including those specific to the specialty and MRO divisions.
* Communicates regularly with senior leadership and other departments to ensure alignment between sales and other business functions, facilitating collaboration and driving results across the organization.
* Contributes to planning and forecasts for the sales department, including strategic objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and revenue targets. Analyzes market data to inform decision-making.
* Counsels Directors and Senior Directors, providing coaching and mentorship to ensure continuous growth and development of leadership skills within the sales organization.
* Aligns policies and procedures for the sales department with organizational goals, ensuring compliance and effective implementation across all regions and teams.
* Performs other duties as assigned

* Manages staff performance and development, coaching team members to achieve their full potential in contributing to the department's goals.

Required Education & Experience

Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
