The Salvation Army Midland Division Corps in Springfield Missouri is looking for an individual who would like to apply their experiences to fill our Operations Director. This is a full-time position with starting pay at $63,000 - $67,000 per year based on education and experience. Location: 1707 W Chestnut Expressway Springfield, Missouri Job Objective As part of executive management team to serve as a resource to the Corps Officers, Directors, and program supervisors/managers in regard to personnel issues, policies, facilities, property, equipment, technology and other issues affecting operations. To ensure that the business practices are conducted with integrity in a moral and ethical manner according to Salvation Army policy and procedures. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a business or management or related field. 4 years equivalent experience. Must have a valid driver's license and pass the Salvation Army MVR check. The BA must be able to work with and supervise a wide variety of personalities. They must be discerning and able to make sound decisions based on a variety of information and input. Position requires handling of cash - must be bondable. Must pass The Salvation Army background check. Must be willing to support The Salvation Army mission. Safe From Harm training must be satisfactorily completed within the first thirty (30) days of employment. Knowledge Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite in the O365/Teams environment. Knowledge of computer networking. Ability to learn new programs as needed. Excellent oral and written communication essential. Able to work well in a team environment while also having the ability to work independently. Must be able to handle multiple projects at the same time. Physical and Working Conditions Must be able to perform the duties of the job. Must be able to work in an office environment using a computer, answering phones, and operating office equipment. Must be able to work outdoors when needed in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
