Shareholder Services Representative Location: 1212 6th Avenue, Floor 17, New York, NY (ONSITE NOT REMOTE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (10:00 AM-6:00 PM, in-office) Saturday: Remote (10:00 AM-4:00 PM ET) Start Date: Targeting 8/11 Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Shareholder Services Representative to support shareholder engagement initiatives. This role involves both inbound and outbound communication with registered shareholders, providing guidance on corporate actions and voting procedures, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the campaign lifecycle. Key Responsibilities * Conduct outbound calls to shareholders using provided call lists. * Respond to inbound inquiries with professionalism and clarity. * Educate shareholders on corporate actions, board proposals, and voting options. * Track and resolve outstanding issues, providing timely updates to clients. * Accurately log interactions and updates into an Access database. * Collaborate on campaign messaging to ensure consistent and effective communication. * Maintain a call rate of 20-25 calls per hour in a fast-paced environment. Technology & Equipment Requirements * Laptop/PC (No Chromebooks or tablets; Apple devices must be 2018 or newer) * Windows 11 Pro or MacOS 13+ * Smartphone for VPN and authentication * Android 11 or iOS 16+ * Reliable Internet: Minimum 50 Mbps download / 11 Mbps upload * https://www.speedtest.net Skills & Qualifications * Strong verbal communication and customer service skills * Ability to multitask and manage both inbound and outbound calls * Self-motivated and proactive during slower periods * Background in finance, business management, or related fields preferred * Experience with call centre operations is a plus Additional Information * Saturday shifts are mandatory (10:00 AM-4:00 PM ET) * Expect a 40+ hour work week during peak seasons * The calling system uses a toll-free number, so personal phone numbers remain private Disqualifiers * No relevant experience in finance, accounting, or business * Chronic lateness or poor punctuality * Degrees unrelated to the role (e.g., Graphic Design, Fashion, Cosmetology) without applicable work experience Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
