Description Acara Solutions is seeking a Quality Manager to join our client on a Full Time Direct Hire opportunity based on San Diego CA 92111 Scope: Manages customer quality issues, including RMAs, SCARs, and complaints related to part quality and documentation. Drives process improvements across the organization to improve overall quality performance. Key Responsibilities: Communicate directly with customers to resolve quality issues. Manage all aspects of RMAs: issuing, processing, follow-up through closure. Investigate and respond to SCARs; identify root cause and implement corrective actions. Handle customer complaints via phone/email in a timely manner. Analyze quality data and prepare reports using analytical tools. Collaborate with Planning Engineering to ensure accurate flow-down of customer quality requirements. Ensure shop traveler documentation and quality language is consistent and clear. Follow through on assigned tasks until resolution. Suggest procedural improvements and communicate safety concerns. Travel to customer/supplier sites as needed. Supervise the Quality team and other departments as required. Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: B.S. in a technical field or 4+ years of relevant experience. Minimum 3 years in Printed Circuit Board manufacturing preferred. U.S. Citizenship required (per ITAR regulations). Preferred Skills / Qualifications: Strong problem-solving and communication skills (verbal/written). Ability to lead, multitask, and work with diverse teams. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Access); able to create charts/graphs. Skilled in blueprint/specification reading. Must comply with ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and TTM export control regulations.
