 Deliver a quality project safely, on time, within budget and with focus on establishing positive relationshipsManage subcontractors and vendors in a coordinated manner while developing long lasting relationships for the CompanyProvide input and valuable review of subcontractor scope to assist the PMCreate and maintain relationships with unions to foster harmony on the project siteMaintain care and custody of the project site to assure safety is of the utmost priorityEnsure that Quality Control requirements are met and followed in accordance with the Contract DocumentsProvide assistance with pre-job planning, strategizing and conceptual schedulingProvide training and mentorship to field personnelFocus on creating and maintaining respect from Subcontractors, Owners, Design team and subordinatesEnsure timely submission of Incident and Accident ReportsProduce tight, realistic construction schedulesInstitute a "zero punchlist" philosophy, to minimize punchlist and call backs on projectsAbility to finish projects ahead of scheduleEnsure that no subcontractor is allowed to work on-site without an approved Insurance certificate, signed Subcontract or a Letter of IntentProvide constructive input into policy making relating to field employeesPerform professional and thorough annual evaluations and focuses on following up on training objectives for field employees reporting to this positionOrganize, manage and record meetingsProduce daily reports and Weekly Status ReportsTake digital progress photographsAssist the project team in developing monthly cost reportsExecute the Company Safety ProgramEstablish good working relationships with government agenciesMentor subordinatesPromote a team atmosphere
 Qualifications 
  
 BS or BA in engineering or related (A proven track record of Construction and/or Management experience in the field may be substituted for degree.)Extensive knowledge of the Owner contracts, drawings and specifications, subcontract agreements, insurance risks. Focuses on mitigating risk for the Company.Extensive knowledge of the Scheduling processable to provide a project plan for use in the development of the overall project scheduleThorough knowledge of self-performance activities including site work, concrete, underground utilities particular to gas and electric transmission, substations and campus infrastructureUnderstanding of the manpower requirements related to these activitiesAbility to provide professional representation at a project interviewProficient at public speakingThorough knowledge of OSHA 1926 and related Corporate Safety ProgramThorough knowledge of Safety Risk Management process, including understanding of EMR, IR, SR, FR and how to effectively improve Safety performance ratings in each of these areasThorough knowledge of confined space, hazmat, asbestos, lead paint and other hazard policies and proceduresThorough knowledge of equipment safetyassures that all required inspections of equipment onsite are completedAbility to manage an entire Project field force commensurate with high-risk large projectsAbility to provide coaching/mentoring/leadership to field supervisory staffSuccessfully completed OSHA 30-hour safety trainingSuccessfully completed First Aid and annual CPR trainingProficiency with computer programs necessary
