Inside Sales Representative - Precision Biomarker & Spatial Biology Solutions
Location: Remote - Western US

ROLE SUMMARY:

We're looking for an energetic and driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Global ISR Team located in the Central USA. In this role, you will engage directly with academic researchers, pharmaceutical scientists, biotech innovators, and CRO partners to accelerate adoption of both Quanterix and Akoya products. It is through these relationships that we will achieve the best possible sales representation for Quanterix Corporation. As an Inside Salesperson, you will be using the phone, MS Teams, email and other tools in your day-to-day interactions with customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:



  • Identify sales opportunities and manage new and existing customers across both the Quanterix Simoa platforms and Akoya's spatial biology portfolio to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan within the stated territory.
  • Build trusted relationships with researchers, lab managers, and procurement teams via phone, email, video meetings (MS Teams/Zoom), and occasional in-person interactions.
  • Manage the full inside sales cycle: qualify leads, present solutions, prepare quotes, and close deals.
  • Collaborate closely with Field Sales, Marketing, and Application Scientists to coordinate strategic account development.
  • Drive consumables growth and expand instrument utilization across existing and new customers.
  • Execute product and promotional campaigns, webinars, and lead follow-up efforts.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and customer data using Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM tools.
  • Provide sales forecasts, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to help shape commercial strategy.
  • Support tenders, proposals, and documentation for key accounts as needed.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences
  • 2+ years of experience in life sciences or biotechnology sales, customer service, or lead development.



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills via remote communication channels.
  • Enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated by a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience selling to academic, pharma, or CRO customers in life sciences.
  • Knowledge of biomarker discovery, proteomics, or spatial biology is a plus-but curiosity and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Practical understanding of the sales processes & buying cycle
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing business environment
  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams or similar programs
  • Be located in the Western US (PST time zone highly preferred)
