Working within Project / Top Hat team, The Project Quality Manager is in charge of Quality objectives achievement of the Project (New launch, MCA/Reskin, Window) by carrying out the actions necessary to their elaboration, consolidation and management:



  • Manages the follow-up of the results (Product/Process) and sets up the preventive and corrective actions necessary to the achievement of the Quality targets.
  • Review that the conditions of organization, the operating processes, knowledge and skills necessary are met for the achievement of the Quality targets.


The Project Quality Manager represents the customer within the Project team all along the project:



  • Ensures the feasibility of the quality targets by assigning priority to issues and ensuring resolution of customer impacting ones.
  • Support the team in defining issue prioritization by providing customer voice based on warranty/survey.
  • Maintains the Quality dashboard of the Project and establishes the Quality indicators for each phase of the Project.
  • Supports the engineering team to ensure the quality convergence of the main suppliers (HW/SW, Make and Buy) and actively supporting engineering in supplier meeting.
  • Expresses the voice of Quality/Customer prior to any decision taken by the Project (Project Decision Meeting).
  • Certifies deferral requests will have no impact in customer satisfaction and support Engineering leads with form to CX for final approval.


During Design phase:



  • Manages the process of quality risks management: lessons learned implementation from previous cars. Identification of the risks, check implementation of the corrective action plans and their execution.
  • Manages the robustness of the RFQs and the definitions of the Features, by ensuring that all the requirements of the stakeholders (warranty, surveys, performance, plant, after sales ...) are taken into account.
  • Identify and anticipate to the Project team criticalities preventing to cross the next milestones, ensuring timing resolution.


During industrial phase and after launch:



  • Working within the Project team to ensure the final tuning of the Product/Process and the specific Quality operations in industrial phase (defects management, check of robustness of final vehicle SW configuration , modernization/batch containment yard campaigns...)
  • Ensures to have the latest and greatest parts (SW and HW) on the cars.
  • After the commercial launch, ensures the treatment of customer claims coming from the field and the plant (Field Early Warning).



Prepares and provides, at the end of the Project, the Quality information necessary to the transfer to the mass production (serial life)

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, Software Engineering, or related degree field.
  • 8 years of experience in automotive product development and quality.
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems, diagnostics, embedded software, and vehicle electronics, after sales processes.
  • Proven experience in training and mentoring technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of warranty analytics, field failure analysis, and customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Experience with automotive standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO 26262, IATF 16949).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Model-Based Design, and Systems Engineering.
