Job Summary: Assist the Distribution Supervisor in managing all IPC & Ascend shipping functions (domestic & international), as well as ensure continuous quality, safety, leadership & customer service. * Assist Freight Shipping Supervisor * Assist shippers (UPS & freight) * Printing orders and managing e-mails * Pick and package orders * Maintain order flow to in paper or paperless * Call in for trailer swaps if needed * Spot and pull trailers * Maintain and promote ISO standards * Promote Safety protocols Job Specifications: * High School diploma, or equivalent * One leadership class - in house * Must be computer literate * Good communication skills * Leadership ability * Have an understanding of NetSuite * Ability to train new employees * Ability to comprehend written and/or verbal communications * Inpro product knowledge * Ability to do one-on-ones Job Relationships: * Reports to Freight Shipping Supervisor * Works with traffic department * Communicates/helps with Shipping Analyst * Work as a lead on the floor Authority: * Authority to stop production for non-conforming quality or safety compliance * To enforce company policies and procedures * Delegate responsibility and move personnel to needed work areas * Make decisions on product conformance to specifications * Make logical decisions based on experience and or company policy Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 pm - 3:00 am Benefits
