Position Purpose |
To provide a range of high-volume photocopying, printing, and mail service functions for the Tuck community, in a fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a customer service focus. |

- One year of relevant experience in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with high-volume copier equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Good judgment and ability to make quick decisions.
- Ability to stay on task with numerous interruptions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and establish priorities to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office and Adobe) and office skills.
- Ability to lift, carry, hold, and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for a total of 4-6 hours/day.

Description |
Photocopy/Print Services:
- Uses a web-based system to manage and track service requests (photocopies, supplies, photocopier repairs).
- Performs printing services, including photocopying, scanning, collating, poster-making, and binding for course materials, mailings, and departmental materials.
- Operates photocopiers of high-level technological sophistication.
- Determines appropriate specifications to ensure high quality and accuracy of completed product.
- Works closely with support staff, administrators, and faculty to finalize production, compilation, and distribution of printed materials.
- Coordinates the printing of confidential materials to meet deadlines.

Description |
Mail Services:
- Sorts and distributes daily incoming mail and packages from various couriers to faculty, staff, and students; acts as liaison with delivery personnel and provides information as needed.
- Ensures confidential, legal, and perishable mail items are retrieved by the recipient in a timely manner.
- Maintains faculty/staff and student mail rooms and copy and supply areas to ensure safety and security.
- Keeps comprehensively informed of current mailing procedures and postage information; answers inquiries about mail carrier options.
- Records and monitors package receipt and retrieval to ensure timely distribution.
- Collects address information from a variety of databases and provides student mail forwarding during the summer and up to one year for alumni.
- Assists staff in preparation of large mailings by ensuring availability of necessary mailing supplies.

Miscellaneous:
- Provides comprehensive customer service to faculty, staff, and students; addresses inquiries, offers direction and information.
- Maintains inventory of office supplies, recognizing needs and replenishing in advance; uses online ordering system, and distributes orders as needed.
- Assists support staff with various administrative tasks; distributing and preparing confidential course materials.
- Troubleshoots malfunctions and maintains multiple photocopiers; acts as direct contact with vendor technicians.
- Takes part in new hire orientations by providing training on the use of copier equipment, mail processing, and service requests.
