Acentra Health is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

Acentra Health is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This role will play a key part in our monthly financial close, Oracle EPM support, cost analysis, and corporate reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working across multiple areas of the organization, including Accounting, Technology, Operations, and other functional teams, and will thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

***Remote position; candidates in DC/VA/MD are preferred for occasional travel to the McLean corporate office.***

Responsibilities:

  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis, modeling, and financial reporting as part of broader special projects within the Corporate Finance function.
  • Lead or contribute to recurring backlog and capital reporting processes.
  • Support the development and distribution of monthly financial reporting packages for key stakeholders.
  • Participate in General Ledger review meetings, identify variances, and collaborate with Accounting to resolve data integrity issues.
  • Document existing financial processes and workflows, identifying areas for standardization and improvement.
  • Coordinate the identification and entry of management adjustments in financial reporting systems.
  • Oversee preparation, validation, and backup of monthly Oracle data loads.
  • Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including policies related to HIPAA and its Privacy and Security Rules.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a business related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in a financial analyst role, preferably in a corporate or shared services environment.
  • Experience working in or supporting a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Limited travel on an as needed basis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, Oracle Cloud/EPM, and Cognos BI.
  • Experience in monthly close cycles, system data loads, and financial system integrations.
  • Familiarity with indirect cost structures and rate methodologies - especially in government or healthcare contract settings.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large datasets and perform reconciliations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional coordination and documentation efforts.
